I have chosen this photo as my photo per day although the one below came a close second. The chosen image was the calm after the rain storm. Failing light reflecting in the standing water made it look very atmospheric.
The ‘close second’ photo was during the storm. Although focusing correctly the heavy rain on the windscreen of my car caused the image to be distorted to almost look like a water colour painting.
